 Titled: Begin with Gratitude

 Intro

Can you start the year with thanksgiving instead of complaints? Will you recognize God’s goodness before asking for more? Do you know that gratitude opens the door to greater blessings?

📖 Scripture

“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18, NKJV

It is the first day of the year. Many are filled with plans, desires, and expectations. But God’s Word teaches us to begin with gratitude. Gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have. It reminds us that God has carried us through the past year. It positions us to receive His blessings in the new year. Thanksgiving is not optional. It is the will of God for His children. When you begin with gratitude, you begin with strength.

Prophetic Life Insights

Here is what this means for you today:

  1. Gratitude is a key to multiplication. What you thank God for increases.

  2. Thanksgiving silences fear. It reminds you of God’s faithfulness.

  3. Gratitude is obedience. It aligns you with God’s will.

  4. A thankful heart attracts favor. It opens doors of blessing.

  5. Gratitude shifts perspective. It helps you see God’s hand in all things.

  6. Beginning with gratitude sets the tone for the entire year.

 Call to Action

Here is your challenge: First, write down five things you are thankful for from the past year. Second, declare daily this week: “I begin with gratitude.” Third, share one testimony of God’s goodness with someone today.

 Prayer

Father, I thank You for the gift of a new year. I thank You for life, health, and strength. I thank You for Your mercy and faithfulness. I begin this year with gratitude. Let thanksgiving fill my heart. Let praise be on my lips. I trust You for greater things ahead. I walk into this year with joy and hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
