 Intro

Can courage rise when fear surrounds you? Will you trust His voice above the storm? Do you know that His presence is your assurance?

📖 Scripture

“For they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, ‘Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.’” — Mark 6:50, NKJV

The disciples were caught in a storm at sea. Winds raged, waves crashed, and fear gripped their hearts. Then Jesus came walking on the water. They were terrified, thinking it was a ghost. But He spoke: “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” His presence silenced their fear. His voice brought peace in the storm. Courage was not found in the absence of trouble, but in the presence of Jesus.

Prophetic Life Insights

Here is what this means for you today:

  • Courage is not the absence of fear; it is faith in His presence.

  • His voice silences storms. Listen for His word in troubled times.

  • Fear magnifies the storm; faith magnifies the Savior.

  • Courage is contagious. When you stand bold, others are strengthened.

  • Jesus is near in every storm. His presence is your anchor.

  • Cheer is not optional—it is commanded by His word. You just have to be cheerful!

       Call to Action

  1. Courage Declaration: Stand in front of a mirror today and declare aloud: “I take courage, for Jesus is with me.”

  2. Storm Reminder: Write down one fear or challenge you face. Cross it out boldly and write over it: “It is I; do not be afraid.”

  3. Encourage Another: Share a word of courage with someone battling fear, reminding them of Christ’s presence.

  Prayer

Father, I thank You for Your presence in every storm. I take courage because You are with me. I silence fear with Your word. I magnify faith above the waves. Strengthen me to stand bold. Let courage rise in my heart. Let peace fill my spirit. I walk in victory, not in fear. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
